AWLC Journey Together (Ladies Bible Study)

Blinn Blessings

This ministry was put on hold due to Covid. Our plans are to restart with the Fall semester of 2022.

College Outreach Blinn Blessings is an outreach program designed to give Blinn students a place to get away from college life and experience a time of food, fellowship and fun. Each Thursday students are provided a meal which is followed by a meditation and discussion and then some fun group activities.

We began in the spring of 2018 and this semester have averaged 16 students each week. A core group of students returns most weeks and has evolved into a "family" of our own. The meals are prepared by members of the church.

This activity is currently on break. Watch for details on resuming this program!

Children and Youth

Confirmation Class

Confirmation is a period of study in which young people prepare to take on a greater responsibility in the life of the church and its mission to the world. The period of study culminates in a special “Confirmation Sunday” worship service.

Abiding Word Lutheran Church offers a two year Confirmation program for 7th & 8th graders. This class is designed to provide instruction directly from Scripture and Luther's Small Catechism. For more information or to enroll your child, please contact the church office at 979-836-5921.

Abiding Word Youth Sunday School Classes

Sunday School Classes are available for the children during the worship service.
